Lauren was diagnosed with juvenile onset diabetes at the age of 16 and has been dedicated to helping others change their eating habits to improve their quality of life ever since.  She has over 20 years of experience providing nutrition counseling to individuals looking for assistance with disease management, weight management, sports performance and overall good health.  Lauren has been interviewed for several magazines and newspapers and has been invited to present nutrition education to various schools, groups and corporations, including the Norfolk Admirals and the Norfolk Airport.
